Surprise Chef’s Frogs In A Pond digs into a shared human experience with real depth and feeling. Based in Australia, the quintet shape these pieces with a clear sense of mood, movement, and emotional detail.
Drawing inspiration from European film composers of the late ’60s and early ’70s, the album unfolds like a cinematic landscape. Its themes and textures evoke emotion even without the listener seeing the film the music could belong to.
