Description
Originally released in 1968, Dream a Little Dream marked Cass Elliot's powerful emergence as a solo artist—an elegant, confident statement that positioned her not as a pop star chasing trends, but as a timeless vocal interpreter with unmistakable emotional authority. Eschewing psychedelia for sophistication, the album blends classic pop, soul, and introspective songwriting, foregrounding Elliot's warmth, vulnerability, and command.
This edition deepens the album's legacy by including two tracks from the original sessions previously unreleased on vinyl: "Darling Be Home Soon" (by John Sebastian) and "Sisotowbell Lane" (by Joni Mitchell), offering fans and collectors a richer, more complete portrait of one of the era's most distinctive and under-appreciated voices.
