Description
Bo Diddley foretold the rock ‘n’ roll of the ‘60s with his third studio album, Have Guitar, Will Travel. Including two previously released singles “Cops and Robbers” and “Mona (I Need You Baby),” the rest of this album features 7 tunes newly recorded for this LP. This music served as inspiration for the bands of the British Invasion with this album’s tracks being eventually covered by bands like the Rolling Stones, Wayne Fontana, and the Downliner Sect. Standout tracks include “Cops and Robbers,” “Spanish Guitar,” and “I Love You So.”
