Before they were even called Montrose, Sammy Hagar, Ronnie Montrose, Bill Church and Denny Carmissi were invitied to perform on a KSAN FM radio show in 1973. Introduced as Ronnie Montrose and Friends, the power house quartet blew the doors away. With their massive appeal arena rock future ahead of them, you could hear it in the perfomances of soon to be hits like Rock Candy, Bad Motor Scooter and of course Rock The Nation.
