Medium Build described the project best - “takeaways is a collection of audio Polaroids. Single takes of a dozen tunes, undressed and uncomplicated. Some songs were written the day I recorded them but most are older choices from my back catalog that I’ve lived with and worn in like a catchers mitt.”
