Originally released on Omnibus and sold, for the most part, by the band on tour, the New York Times claimed My Solo Project was one of the "10 worthwhile albums you may have missed." In 2003, Polyvinyl re-released the then hard-to-find album with bonus, revamped artwork. My Solo Project is now back in print on clear pink vinyl.
