Acda & Demunnik - Adem (Het Beste Van) [Orange Vinyl] [Import]

In 1995 the duo Acda & de Munnik started a series of extremely successful albums and sold out theater tours every where. First, the self-titled album was released in 1997 with the well-known hits 'If The Fire Is Extinguished', 'Walking Until The Sun Comes', 'Vondelpark Tonight' and the now famous cover of the Jacques Brel song 'De Stad Amsterdam'.

After their debut release, the second album Naar Huis was released, containing their biggest hit 'Not Or Never Been'. Besides this monster hit, this album contains quite a few well-known and beloved songs, such as the song about the death of John Lennon 'Let Me Sleep', 'The Captain' and 'It's Raining Sunbeams' And of course the characteristic Acda & de Munnik hits 'Ren Lenny Ren', 'Wrong Connected' and 'De Captain Part II' on the unique compilation LP Adem - The Best Of. The artwork for this compilation is unique and made entirely in collaboration. The pictures on the front of the album and on the inside of the gatefold sleeve are shot in France, while writing the songs for the album where the success all started. Despite the fact that both gentlemen decided in good consultation to stop the collaboration, the legendary stories and songs about Herman and Lenny remain and their work has made an unmistakable impression in the Dutch pop music. It has since been announced that the duo has reunited and will play a number of sold-out shows in the Ziggo Dome in October and December 2023. To celebrate this joyous occasion, Adem is available as a limited edition of 1000 individually numbered copies on 'Sunbeam Flaming' vinyl.
