Maker’s Mark Presents: Thanksgiving Eve with Maria Carrelli
This year Arnold’s has teamed up with Maker’s Mark, Neltner Small Batch Records and Maria Carrelli for one of the coolest things Arnold’s has ever done.

Not only did we manage to book one of Cincinnati’s biggest music acts, Maria Carrelli for Thanksgiving Eve but we also got her to record a live album here back in April and Thursday Nov 22nd will be her official album release party for it. The amazing thing? Thanks to Maker’s Mark the first 150 people to show up at Arnold’s will get a free copy of the album pressed on super limited edition red vinyl. So just to recap, not only will you have the chance to see Maria Carrelli live at Arnold’s with no cover on Thanksgiving Eve, you will also get a free super limited edition vinyl album for free.
All that plus we will be running specials on Maker’s Mark Cocktails and serving Maker’s Mark infused entree specials as well.

These aren’t just regular albums. There is a ton of work that goes into them. Releasing these Thanksgiving Eve albums for free has been a passion project for Arnold’s owner Chris Breeden and celebrated graphic designer Keith Neltner for over 5 years now. They handle every aspect of this release from the vinyl pressing all the way to stuffing the records into the sleeves at the end. The project actually won multiple Cincinnati Addy awards over the years as well.

This year's album was printed using a special UV printing process that has never been done on a record jacket as far as we know. The jackets are then foil stamped on the front and blind stamped on a letter press on the back. The records are hand pressed at Mus-i-col recording company in Columbus.

*There is also an extremely limited number of copies pressed on pink and coke bottle clear split vinyl (yes, they look awesome) that will be available at select local record stores on Black Friday. Along with a super rare glow in the dark version (Only 25 pressed!) The records will be available at Shake It Records, Everybody's Records, Plaid Room Records, Jet Age Records, Hail Records and Oddities, Morrow Records, Torn Light Records and more!

** Breakdown for the record geeks: There were 550 records pressed total. 150 on opaque red vinyl, 250 on coke bottle clear and pink split vinyl and 25 on Glow in the dark vinyl. There were also 100 pressed on transparent green vinyl that are only available to Maria Carrelli. 150 opaque red will be given away for free and will be available at Arnold's only. Up to 140 of the coke bottle clear and pink vinyl will be available at record stores with the rest will be given to people involved in making the records.
