Name names. Name places. Name influences. Name tour dates. Name quotes by Oscar Wilde and\/or Noel Gallagher. And none of that is relevant to Ferries. After the 2025 release of Ferries' quickly-vanishing first LP, Eye Flutter, not much changed for the band. They continued to exist by not existing. Et voila, a new record, Eye Wander, is now here. Although the medium is the same as the previous one (black gold), they've taken a next step in a smoky journey into a dubby and kraut-y world of creating songs and musical moments. Is 'avant garde pop' a genre? Or even 'dub kraut'? I know 'indie' certainly is, and I don't really agree with that either, and even a broken clock is right twice a day so what's the point anyway. And so - Ferries made a new record called Eye Wander and it is out on World of Echo.
